Grow up, be mature, but still maintain those beautiful qualities. What I feel is important is the freedom to invent things, however ridiculous. Don't be afraid to take risks, to be creative, and try things. - Johnny Depp

I tend to blog a mix of my own stuff and others but you'll always know if it's my own.

Work experience at the Hampstead Theatre in London, helping with the get-in for Chariots of Fire. We had to mix Vermiculite with PVA and spread it on the floor to create texture for a running track. Messy stuff but pretty therapeutic!

In the first two weeks of being back on the Scenic Art course, we’ve had to paint a wood panel with marble, marble carving, oak and mahogany wood graining and Trompe L’Oeil. I will do the Trompe L’Oeil tomorrow but this is most of it finished. I’m really proud!

It’s my job in our group at the moment to make wood look like rustic iron. This was a sample I did today that I’m REALLY proud of… I think this is softwood.

The Victorian window we’re currently making at Central. I painted the three bottom panels and with friends painted the base colours and glaze. Scenic Construction made it. The higher decorations were made by a girl from props.

This is a close up photo of the detail I painted on to a window side panel. :)
